Angelina missing tooth #2Angelina lost her second tooth Tuesday!  She came in and woke me up, and was trying to show me her tooth, but I was so tired that I had a very hard time figuring out what was going on.  Finally, I figured it out and jumped up out of bed.  She told me that she had been twisting it around, and it just fell out — she was very excited, and very happy that it hadn’t hurt.  (Some of the kids at school had told her that it hurts when a top tooth comes out.)

She was at our house last night, so we got to do the Tooth Fairy thing.  We were pretty sure that Dave had given Alexander $2/tooth when he lost his, so that’s what we gave Angelina.  She seemed very surprised and happy.

I took the kids to Dollar Tree so she could spend her tooth money.  Alexander still had his, so he got to spend his, too.  They took quite a long time deciding, and I’m very proud of Angelina:  she decided that, instead of spending both dollars on herself, she wanted to use one dollar to buy something for her friend Cassidy!  (When I asked her if she was sure, she said, “Yes.  She bought us Christmas presents, so I want to give her a present.”  (She bought her a tug-of-war toy for her to play with her dog with.)  She was so excited that she wanted to take it to her right away.  I called Cassidy’s mom to make sure it was okay, and had Dave stop by with her on the way to his house.
