Some may recall—okay, Jason—that about a year and a half ago I was involved with a short film done by the now-ex-boyfriend of my friend Kelly. Both she and I got to be extras in the film, and I find that I’ll have to wait for another chance for my close-up.

I finally got to see the film for the first time tonight online—I discovered it while Googling my own name and having the cast list show up in the results—and all my best stuff, alas, was left on the hard drive floor. (If you want the story on why I was Googling my own name, you’ll just have to ask.) But at least I get more screen time than Kevin Costner in The Big Chill.

Anyway, I think for a first effort by two guys with a camera and a computer it’s something of which they can be proud. I know I’ve seen much, much worse by people with massive budgets.

So without further ado, direct thyselves to Cat Food and Bean Dip and see what Eric and William did. (And see if you can spot me and Kelly.)
