And on the 94th week….

He decided to write again. Actually what I’d decided to do was start a blog, but I remembered I had this already, and it’s free. Blogger’s free, sure, but from what I can tell, it’s also cheap. I’ll go with Movable Type when I’m ready. For now, I think this shall suffice.

Why now? Eh. Been approaching the idea for a while, it kept being turned away by the same thought: If I’ve got time to write in a journal, I’ve got time to be working on a script. Or something else more crucial than this. But you know, sometimes you just want to get a thought down. That’s usually been what e-mail’s for, but I’d rather not restrict it as such. The whole idea of e-mail is to share an experience or insight with a friend, whether you’re looking for feedback or not. So why limit myself to just one or two friends? Of course it’s largely, even primarily not even about that. It’s about putting my thoughts somewhere. I’m not going to handwrite them. Used to, for years, but as tactilely pleasurable as that it is, it’s a pain in the hand. I’m all about turning thoughts into words as quickly as I can, and I can type faster than I can write. (Though considering my writing, you might not think it to see it.)

Anyway, there’s the motivation behind the mystery. I’m sure many were wondering….
